Daily Devotion: After Grace — Glory by John MacDuff

Bible Reading: Psalm 84:5-12 KJV

Key Verse:  "For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly."
- Psalm 84:11 KJV

Oh! happy day: when this toilsome warfare will all be ended — Jordan crossed — Canaan entered — the multitude of enemies of the wilderness no longer dreaded — sorrow, sighing, death, and, worst of all, sin, no more either to be felt or feared! Here is the terminating link in the golden chain of the everlasting covenant. It began with predestination; it ends with glorification. It began with sovereign grace in eternity past, and no link will be lacking until the ransomed spirit is presented faultless before the throne!

Daily Devotion: The Disposal Of Providence Always Best by James Meikle

Bible Reading: 2 Corinthians 5:1-8 KJV

Key Verse:  "(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)"
- 2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV

Why would I still take the government of myself out of your hand, and choose according to my fond desires? Can my ignorance penetrate through the thick darkness of futurity? Who would choose a blind mad-man to guide him through some lonely ways and intricate meanders, with which neither the traveler nor the guide are acquainted in the least: since he might lead him where he desires, and stab him as he strays?

Daily Devotion: All Scripture Is Given By Inspiration Of God by Wil Pounds

Bible Reading: 2 Timothy 3:10-17 KJV

Key Verse:  "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"
- 2 Timothy 3:16 KJV

The apostle Paul accepted the fact that the Word of God was inspired, incorruptible, indestructible and indispensable. Since “all Scripture is inspired by God,” then no scripture is uninspired. It is God-breathed, breathed into by God, or inspired.

Daily Devotion: Take No Thought For Tomorrow by Octavius Winslow

Bible Reading: Matthew 6:27-34 KJV

Key Verse:  "Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."
- Matthew 6:34 KJV

It is a matter of much practical importance, that you take heed not to anticipate or to forestall the promised grace. For every possible circumstance in which you may be placed, the fullness of Christ and the supplies of the covenant are provided. That provision is only meted out as the occasions for whose history it was provided occur.

Daily Devotion: Do You Forget My Cross by Charles Spurgeon

Bible Reading: Song of Solomon 1:1-8 KJV

Key Verse:  "Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee."
- Song of Solomon 1:4 KJV

Jesus will not let His people forget His love. If all the love they have enjoyed should be forgotten, He will visit them with fresh love. "Do you forget my cross?" says He, "I will cause you to remember it; for at My table I will manifest Myself anew to you. Do you forget all I did for you in the council-chamber of eternity? I will remind you of it, for you shall need a counselor, and shall find Me ready at your call." Mothers do not let their children forget them. If the boy has gone to Australia, and does not write home, his mother writes, "Has John forgotten his mother?" Then there comes back a sweet letter, which proves that the gentle reminder was not in vain.

Daily Devotion: Do You Filter The Words Of Jesus? by J.E. Smith

Bible Reading: Matthew 24:27-35 KJV

Key Verse:  "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."
- Matthew 24:35 KJV

A sepia filter is a digital processing technique that simulates the warm, brownish tone characteristic of traditional black-and-white photographs from the early days of photography. The term “sepia” refers to the rich brown pigment derived from the ink sac of the common cuttlefish, Sepia officinalis. This filter gives images a nostalgic, vintage appearance, it enhances the overall mood and atmosphere of a photograph and create a distinctive, artistic look. Put another way, it changes reality to what the photographer thinks is best; the end result resembles, but does not match reality.

Daily Devotion: He Opened Their Understanding by J.C. Philpot

Bible Reading: Luke 24:44-51 KJV

Key Verse:  "Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,"
- Luke 24:45 KJV

Blessed opening, when He that has the key of David puts in his hand by the hole of the door, and opens our heart to receive his own word. Then when we go to the Word of Truth, after it has come to us, our fingers drop with sweet-smelling myrrh upon the handles of the lock. It is said that "the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they that hear shall live." O, to hear the voice of the Son of God in our hearts! Surely it shall make our dead hearts, cold frames, withering hopes, drooping love, dying faith, languishing prayers, and fainting minds live; yes, revive as the grain, and grow as the vine.

Daily Devotion: Be Content With His Daily Allowance by Charles Spurgeon

Bible Reading: 2 Kings 25:23-30 KJV Key Verse:  " And his allowance was a continual allowance given him of the king, a daily rate ...
